3 November 2008 1770 to Kroombit Tops National Park

A walkway that we had to drive through

Collecting wood for our fire

Decided that we would make our way to Carnarvon Gorge via Kroombit Tops. This was because we had heard that it was a good 4 Wheel Drive Trip. Went firstly to Miriam Vale for directions then we crossed country to get to the National Park. When in the National Park visited the Beautiful Betsy plane wreck – very sad as one of the passengers was on his way to Brisbane for his wedding. Then went and found our camping site at the wall. ...Photo
Went down to the camping spot via the 4 wheel drive track – didn’t seem too bad, settled down for the night and were visited by wild horses – don’t think that they were happy that we were in their camping spot.
