21 November 2008 Moree to Lightning Ridge

Travelled on to Lightning Ridge –trying to get away from the rains. Sal and Col rang to organise to catch up; they were going to meet us here tomorrow. Went for a walk through town, Mike had been there before but couldn’t remember most of it, organised a tour for first thing in the morning. Sal and Col made better timing and made it in the afternoon. Went to the restaurant at the pub for dinner – great meal and huge servings (Jan had to get a doggy bag)
