Our first wild Koala
Crop dustingWanted to check out the Warrumbungles. On the way managed to see our first Koala in a tree right on the side of the road – very excited.

As we were heading for Coonabarabran, heard that they had had a huge Hail Storm the night before, could see evidence in the streets – mostly the leaves from the trees everywhere. Had heard through people in the town that more storms were on the way so decided to cabin or Motel it for the next couple of nights. Found a lovely motel that also had cooking facilities – the Warrumbungle Mountains Motel. Set ourselves up and then went to look at eh Crystal House. Bought a couple of things (A birthday present for my cousin and some things for me) then back to hotel – had a look at the stars – although there were clods earlier they cleared up so that Mike could do some star gazing.
