Early start back today. Jan felt something touch her on her leg in the car, but Mike wouldn’t stop the car to check. Stopped at Archer river on the way back for toilet and drink. Hann River for the overnight stop. On the way through Coen grabbed some salad bits and pieces to have for dinner as we hadn’t had one for a while. It was the best salad that we had had in years. When Mike was getting the vege basket out he saw some blue stuff in the bottom of the car, on further inspection it turned out that something had eaten through it and had some of the potatoes - putting 2 and 2 together Jan determined that it was the thing that touched her in the morning. Well everything then had to come out of the car (including her secret stash of shoes) Some of you would know that Mike only allowed her to bring 5 pairs, but she found some hiding holes and thought that Mike wouldn’t notice (bugger) as 8 or 9 pairs of shoes were thrown out in hope of finding the animal Sally and Mike were in tears of laughter as Jan was caught out!! We didn’t find anything (Mike thinks that it had got out at earlier stops)
