Had a bit of a sleep in (to 8.00am), decided that today was the day to go to ‘the Tip’. We were going to have a quiet lunch at the tip, but unfortunately after we had reached it the heavens opened, there was gale force winds and driving rain. The boys decided to take us the beach way back to the car, which was over the rocky parts of the cape (when wet the slippery rocky parts of the Cape) – we all ended up looking like drowned rats. Had a bite to eat at the car and then went back to the camp. We had dinner at the restaurant – the special of the day was Baked Dinner – really nice although too much, Col had to go to bed to sleep it off.
