These are the OWLS!!!!
No major drama’s today except the trailer tyre had a slow leak. Managed to get that fixed at Coen. Moved off to Archer River Roadhouse. Not a bad place to be, although we went for a visit to the river and it was a very sad sight with all the rubbish everywhere!!!!. Mike (now known as the great white hunter) went off to gather firewood, so we could have a nice campfire tonight. There was a sight tonight though, a dog was chasing a cow, and a man was chasing the dog – there are a lot of cows up in this neck of the woods (Just ask Jan – she has heaps of photos). Col made friends with Brown Owls on the clothes line (see Photo) and yes it was after he had a few drinks. Woken up by lots of lorikeets at 6am – sounds of the country (oh and also by a truck starting up to move on about 4am).
